AI Avatars

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Kyron courses use AI Avatars as the instructors for each course. These avatars create a more engaging and interactive learning experience. They also save time by removing the need for recording, editing, and producing video content, allowing educators to focus on lesson design and student engagement.

Currently, we have two options for avatars: Liz and Dr. Bishop. Dr. Bishop is the default avatar for all courses. To change your course’s avatar, simply go to Settings > Theme > Avatar. Read this article for more information.

  • More avatar selections are still to come!

  • NOTE: For legacy users, Paloma is no longer a course avatar option for any new courses you create. If you have questions about this, please reach out to our Support team!

The AI Avatar will read aloud the content in all lecture, question, and multiple choice segments.

  • If you have uploaded your own video for a specific segment, the AI Avatar will not appear on the screen.

  • If you have uploaded your own image, the AI Avatar will appear on the screen next to your personalized image unless you have chosen the “no avatar” option.

The interaction segments work a little differently. For all guided conversations, reflective conversations, and assessment conversations, you will see the AI Avatar in the video, but the voice of the AI tutor you are interacting with will be different.

Kyron’s AI Avatars bring a dynamic and interactive element to your online courses. They enhance engagement and streamline course creation. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we continue to innovate! With expanded avatar options, you’ll be able to make your courses even more personalized and engaging.
