Once you have completed all the edits in your asset, you must ensure all of your videos are generated before you can publish.
Generate and Publish
You can generate our videos and publish your lesson with one click, if you are ready to publish.
1. Click “Export.”
2. Click “Generate videos and publish.” (Note: This process will take a few minutes)
3. You’ll know your lesson has been published because the “Live” button will appear next to the lesson title.
If you go to Export, you’ll also see that there are no changes to publish.
Generate videos without publishing
1. If you want to generate all the videos in your lesson without publishing it, simply click “Generate all missing videos” in orange.
2. Wait for your videos to finish generating. This process will take several minutes.
3. When you are ready to publish, go to Export > click Publish.
Making changes to your activities
If you make a change to an activity after already generating the videos in your lesson, you will need to re-generate the video(s) and republish your lesson.
You can do so in one of three ways:
Method 1: Go to Export > Generate all missing videos.
If you do not want to publish any of the new changes you made, click “Generate all missing videos” in orange.
Once your video(s) have been generated, click “Publish” so your changes are live.
Method 2: Generate videos and publish
If you’d like to generate your updated videos and publish at the same time, click “Generate videos and publish” in purple.
Method 3: Assemble the final video
Click “Assemble final video to generate the video for any activities you made edits to.
Once the video is done generating, go to Export > Publish to ensure any changes are reflected in your live course.
