Within a Kyron Course, there are sections and segments. Sections are groupings of segments, identified by the subheading. One section can include a lecture and one or more interactions. The section titles are what appear in the table of contents and allow you to navigate to different parts of the course.
Segments are individual videos/components of a section. Types of segments include: lectures, questions, multiple choice, and conversations (guided conversation, reflective conversation, assessment).
Adding Segments
Read this article for more information on each type of segment you are able to add to your course.
1. Click the three vertical dots next to the section you want to add a segment to.
2. Click "Add Segment."
3. Click the drop down menu to select your desired content type.
4. In the new segment that is created, be sure to fill in the text input fields with the appropriate information.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to add more segments.
If you need to reorder your segments, simply click and drag the segments to the desired position.
Deleting Segments
To delete a segment, click on the three vertical dots next to the segment name and click “Delete Segment.”
