Deploying via SCORM

Trying to deploy content a different way? Explore some of our alternatives to deploying content:

SCORM enables an LMS to receive and track student data automatically, often without requiring a separate login (depending on the LMS). This option downloads a SCORM file containing your course, which can be uploaded into any SCORM-compatible LMS (e.g., Canvas).

To download a SCORM package, follow these steps:

  1. Click “Export Course” in the upper right hand corner.

  2. Click on the SCORM tab.

    1. Optional: Select your SCORM version. SCORM 2004 is the default option.

  3. Click "Download SCORM."

  4. Upload the file into your LMS.

A few notes on SCORM

  • Kyron supports two SCORM versions: SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 (default).

  • Some LMS platforms require admin support to enable SCORM. Once set up, anyone can upload SCORM packages.

  • SCORM points to the latest version of the course, so if a course is edited and republished, there is no need to re-download the SCORM file or update the link.
