Easy Edit

Updated over 2 weeks ago

To make editing easier, our AI can assist you by regenerating content when needed with our Easy Edit feature.

Regenerate Lecture Content

For each lecture activity, you will notice a few functions above the Narration Transcript text box.

Each symbol represents a specific editing option:

  • Simplify: Makes the text easier to understand.

  • Condense: Shortens the text while keeping the main ideas.

  • Expand: Adds more detail and explanation to the text.

  • Custom Instructions: Allows you to provide specific guidance for how you’d like the AI to regenerate the text (all inputs are moderated).

When using simplify, condense, or expand, a pop up will appear to show you what the new text will look like.

  • If you’d like see a different variation, click the button.

    • NOTE: Once you regenerate again, you cannot go back to previous versions.

  • By default, the video title and bullet points will also be regenerated when you replace the text.

    • NOTE: If you uncheck this box, the title and bullet points will not be regenerated. Since they are based on the lecture text, the original versions may no longer align with the updated content.

  • If you’d like to provide custom instructions for how to regenerate the text, you can put that in the text box at the bottom.

    • Click “Regenerate” to apply your custom edits.

    • NOTE: Once you regenerate again, you cannot go back to previous versions.

  • Once you are satisfied with the regenerated version, click “Replace Text” in the bottom right corner to apply the changes.
