Multi-Scene Videos

Updated today

To take your asset even further, our AI can generate multi-scene videos that make content more dynamic and engaging. With this feature, creators can quickly produce visually engaging videos without needing advanced design skills, existing video content, or expensive production support. Learners, in turn, benefit from clearer explanations, more visual variety, and a smoother learning experience compared to static slides or text.

The tool automatically transforms your script into a scene-by-scene video. Each scene pairs text with carefully selected visuals that match the narration, creating the effect of an animated, story-like presentation.

Multi-scene videos can be created for all activity types (lectures, conversations, and multiple choice questions and responses).

Creating a multi-scene video

1. Open Media Settings for the activity.

2. Select “Generate multi-scene video” from the Video Source drop down.

3. Click “Create scenes.”

4. Once this process is done, you can preview the individual scenes below the narration transcript.

5. Make any desired edits to your scenes. See below for how you may edit each scene.

6. When you are done making any edits needed to your scenes, click “Assemble Video” to generate the entire video.

Note: For multiple choice responses:

1. Click “Response Media.”

2. Select “Generate multi-scene video” then “Create Scenes.”

Editing a multi-scene video

You are able to add, delete, or edit scenes once they have all been generated.

Add scenes

To add scenes, simply click “Add Scene” where you want the new scene to go.

Delete scenes

To delete scenes, simply click the red trash icon next to the scene you’d like to delete.

Edit scenes

For each scene, you can:

1. Edit the narration.

Any changes made to the scene’s narration will be reflected in the overall narration transcript at the top.

  • Original

  • Edited

  • When you edit the scene’s narration, you will need to click “Assemble Video” at the top to generate the new multi-scene video, and view the updated scene.

2. Edit the scene layout.

Click the Scene Layout button above the scene’s video to change the layout.

  • The layout change applies only to the current scene you’re working on, not to all scenes in the video.

3. Edit scene image.

Click the image icon above the video to change or remove a scene’s image.

  • This option will only be available for scenes that include images. Any scenes that have bullet point text will have this option grayed out.

  • Click “Regenerate” and our AI will generate a new image for you.

  • Click “Replace image” to upload an image from your own files.

    • Note: Make sure your image is 1920 x 1080 pixels and a png, jpg, or jpeg file type.

  • Click “Remove image” to delete the image from the scene.

    • Note: If you delete an image and do not upload or generate a new one, a generic image of mountains will appear in your scene.

4. Edit the scene’s text.

To edit a scene’s text, click the “T” icon above the video.

For scenes with only images, you can edit the title that appears in the video.

For scenes with bullet point text, you can edit the title and bullet points.

5. Edit the scene avatar.

To edit the avatar, click the avatar icon above the video.
