Troubleshooting Your Lesson Access

Updated today

Having trouble accessing or taking your Kyron Learning asset? Start with these steps. If the issue continues, reach out to your instructor or institution for further support.

Check Your Device

Kyron Learning works best on a desktop or laptop. If you are using a mobile device to access your lessons, we recommend switching to a desktop or laptop to see if that resolves the issue.

Check Your Browser

Kyron Learning works best on the current and previous versions of Google Chrome. For the best experience, we recommend using this browser when accessing Kyron Learning. If you are not using Chrome, try switching to see if this resolves your issue.

Clear Your Cookies

Clearing your cookies may help resolve your issue. To do so on Chrome, follow these steps:

1. Click the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click Privacy and security > Delete browsing data.

4. Select the time range and make sure the box next to “Cookies and other site data” is checked. Then click “Delete data.”

Allow Third-Party Cookies

Kyron uses cookies for authentication and session management for a seamless learning experience. Kyron does not use third-party cookies. Nevertheless, the handling of cookies is changed by browsers from time to time and you might wanna make sure your browser is not blocking cookies by default.

To make sure you are allowing third-party cookies, follow these steps:

1. Click the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click Privacy and security > Third party cookies.

Enabling Microphone Permissions

When interacting with a Kyron asset, you may want to speak directly instead of typing. When you do this for the first time in the Chrome browser, you may be asked to enable microphone permission for app.kyronlearning.com. You can also enable it at any time after your first visit.

Enabling microphone permissions for the first time on Chrome

  1. Click the microphone icon to begin speaking.

2. Click “Allow” on the dialog that pops up.

Re-enabling microphone permissions after previously disabling on Chrome

  1. Click the website setting in your address bar.

2. Click the toggle next to the Microphone icon.
