(2/23/26) New Features Now Available in Kyron Studio

Updated over 3 weeks ago

At Kyron Learning, every product decision starts with one question: does this improve how students learn? This month, we are excited to introduce new capabilities that make instruction more responsive, more personalized, and more aligned with how understanding actually develops.

New Features Available

Multiple Choice with Conversation

new feature 1

Multiple choice has long been used to check understanding, but it often stops at telling learners whether they were right or wrong.

With Multiple Choice with Conversation, incorrect answers trigger a guided conversation that helps learners examine their thinking, address misconceptions, and work toward the correct understanding.

The result is more personalized feedback and a stronger instructional moment for every learner.

What this means for educators:

  • More personalized feedback at scale

  • Stronger insight into learner reasoning

  • Instruction that adapts in the moment

Enhanced Image Generation

new feature 2

We have significantly upgraded image generation across Kyron Studio to give creators more control and produce more instructionally relevant and aligned visuals.

This update includes a new model, improved prompting, and the ability for creators to provide guidance that informs how images are generated.

The result is imagery that better supports the learning experience rather than simply filling space.

With enhanced image generation, creators can:

  • Guide the context and purpose of generated visuals

  • Align images more closely to instructional goals

  • Build richer, more engaging and cohesive lessons

Because when visuals reinforce understanding, they become part of the instruction itself.

New Features Coming Soon

Expanded User Roles

We’re introducing the first phase of expanded user roles in Kyron Studio.

Soon, teams will be able to assign role-based permissions — such as view-only access, commenting, editing, or publishing — so contributors can participate in the parts of the lesson creation process most relevant to their responsibilities.

Whether collaborating across courses, programs, or departments, these new roles will support clearer workflows while maintaining thoughtful structure and oversight.

More details coming next month.

Why Just-in-Time Questions Change Learning

You may have heard Kyron CEO Rajen Sheth describe the power of “just-in-time questions.” Learners often do not see gaps in their understanding until the right question reveals them.

Kyron embeds these checks throughout instruction to surface misconceptions in the moment and prompt reflection before learners move on. Over time, students build the skills to better monitor their own understanding.

Learn more about this in our new blog post titled “Why Just in Time Questions Change Learning”.
