Kyron Learning seamlessly integrates with Blackboard Learn, a widely adopted Learning Management System (LMS), empowering you to effortlessly incorporate Kyron Learning's interactive learning materials directly into your Blackboard courses. Requirements
Kyron Learning Account: Create a Kyron Learning account to access the platform's course creation tools.
Blackboard Learn Account: You'll need an active Blackboard Learn account with System Administrator privileges to configure the integration.
Configuration
1. Register Kyron with your Blackboard account
A. Navigate to your Blackboard account as an administrator and open the Administrator Panel.
B. Under Integrations, select LTI Tool Providers.
C. Click Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool.
D. Enter the Client ID: e633fcef-5321-4e2d-9a03-c4809bb11c5d
E. Click Submit — this pulls in Kyron's application configuration (issuer, keyset, and endpoints) automatically. These fields are read-only; you don't need to enter anything else here.
F. Set Tool Status to Approved.
G. We recommend the following under Institution Policies:
Check Role in Course, Name, and Email Address under User Fields to Send
Set Allow grade service access to Yes if you would like to allow Kyron to send grades back based on student work.
H. Click Submit. On the tool's listing page, click Edit to view its configuration details — note the Deployment ID shown there. You'll need it in the next step.
2. Add placements to your course
A. From the LTI Tool Providers page, find Kyron Learning, open its menu, and select Manage Placements.
B. Confirm both Kyron Modules and Kyron Analytics show Availability: Yes. If not, edit each placement and set it to Yes.
NOTE — Kyron ships two placements with this integration: Kyron Modules (a Deep Linking placement, for adding lesson content to a course) and Kyron Analytics (a Course Tool placement, for viewing learner analytics). Both are added automatically once you register the Client ID above. If you would like to remove either of these, you may do so under Placements.
3. Register your Blackboard account with Kyron
A. As an Admin user, navigate to Settings → Integrations at www.kyronlearning.com/studio/settings/integrations.
B. Click Register Platform.
C. Select Blackboard as the platform type, and fill in the Deployment ID from step 1H along with the rest of this information:

Deployment ID: [the one from your deployment in Blackboard]

D. Click Save. You should now see a new entry in your Integrations list.
4. Add a Kyron lesson to your course
A. Go to your course's Content area.
B. Select Build Content → Kyron Modules.
C. Select the lesson you'd like to add, configure any grading settings, and click Submit.
The Kyron lesson will now appear as a content item in your course, and students can launch it directly from there.
5. Grading
If grading is enabled for a lesson, Blackboard automatically creates a corresponding Grade Center column. As students complete the lesson, their scores sync back to that column via LTI Advantage's Assignment and Grade Services — no manual grade entry required.
In order for this to happen, your institution must allow grading from external tools. To set this up, go back to Integrations → LTI Tool Providers, pick Manage Global Properties and set Allow configured tool providers to post grades to true.

Optional: Removing Kyron Analytics from a course
If you'd like to hide the Kyron Analytics tool for a specific course:
Go to Course Management → Customization → Tool Availability within that course.
Find Kyron Analytics and uncheck its availability.
To remove the placement institution-wide instead, go to LTI Tool Providers → Kyron Learning → Manage Placements, open Kyron Analytics, and set Availability to No.
