Lessons can include closed captions in multiple languages. This helps learners follow along in their preferred language, making lessons more accessible to English language learners and diverse classrooms. With multilingual captions, instructors choose which languages are available, and learners can pick their preferred caption language while watching — or turn captions off entirely.
Supported languages: Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog/Filipino, Arabic, and French.

1. Open the lesson in Studio and go to Settings.
2. Click Video Settings.
3. Under the language options, select each language you want to make available to learners.

All video scripts — whether from a generated video or an uploaded video — are automatically translated into each selected language, so no manual translation is required.
