**NOTE: If you have not previously logged in using Google or Microsoft to create an account, you will need to do so before you are able to start creating courses. Read this article for more information.**
1. Click the “+ Create” button.
2. Click "Create a course."
3. Enter your course Title, select the Duration, and enter your Audience, and Course Objectives. Alternatively, you can select one of the Example courses, and these fields will auto-populate for you.
Optional: If you have existing, text-based resources (PDF, TXT, or docx) you’d like to upload to support our AI with creating a tailored course to your materials, you can upload a maximum of 3 documents.
4. Click “Generate course outline” in the bottom right when all fields have been filled.
5. You’ll see our AI plan your course step by step on a new screen.
Once this process is done, you will see an outline of all the modules in your course. From here, you can make changes to the modules before creating the course.
You can edit the learning objective of each module to directly impact the course that is built.
If you’d like, you can add more modules to your course. Simply click “+ Add Module” and enter a topic/objective. Our AI will create the module title and refine your objective.
If you’d like to rearrange the order in which the modules appear, you can do so by following these steps:
Hover over the module you wish to move.
6. Once you have ensured you have all the modules you want in the desired order, click “Generate my course.”
7. You will be taken to a new page where you can see our AI begin to create your course! This process will take a few moments, so feel free to navigate away from the page. You will receive an email once your course has been created.
8. Once your course has been created, you will see a preview of what your videos will look like. Any edits you make to your segments (ex: changes to the text, uploading images) will be reflected in this preview.
9. Once you are done making all your edits/changes, you will need to generate all the videos in your course before publishing. Read this article for more information on how to generate the videos for your course.
A few notes on course creation:
On the “Course Modules” page, any edits you make here will not affect what you inputted in the previous “Course Overview” page.
For example, if you add a new module with a new objective, this will not change the course objectives on the previous “Course Overview” page.
If you are on the “Course Modules” page and go back to the “Course Overview” page to make edits, those changes will override what was on the “Course Modules” page.
For example, if you go back and change your course objectives on the “Course Overview” page, the AI will re-plan your course and you will notice the module title and objective(s) have changed.
Each module in a course covers one course objective, and will be roughly 30 minutes long. It will consist of lecture videos, multiple choice questions, discussion activities, and a short module assessment.
Depending on the course duration you select, not all course objectives may be covered. For example, if you initially set three course objectives but choose a 1-hour course, only two objectives will be included.
If you add additional course modules during the second step of the creation process, your course duration will increase. For example, if you initially created a 30-minute course and then added a new module, the total course length will extend to 1 hour.
