Enabling Microphone Permissions on Chrome/Safari for Kyron Courses

When interacting with a Kyron course, you may want to speak directly instead of typing. When you do this for the first time in the Chrome or Safari browsers, you may be asked to enable microphone permission for app.kyronlearning.com. You can also enable it at any time after your first visit.

Enabling microphone permissions for the first time on Chrome

  1. Click the microphone icon to begin speaking.

2. Click “Allow” on the dialog that pops up.

  1. Click the microphone icon to begin speaking.

2. Click the "Allow" on the dialog that pops up.

Re-enabling microphone permissions after previously disabling on Chrome

  1. Click the website setting in your address bar.

2. Click the toggle next to the Microphone icon.

Re-enabling microphone permissions after previously disabling on Safari

  1. Click the Safari menu at the top left of your screen.

2. Click "Settings."

3. Click "Websites" in the top navigation, select "Microphone" on the left side, then

click the dropdown next to "app.kyronlearning.com" and select "Allow.
