Publishing and Deploying Your Course

Updated over a month ago

When you are ready to deploy your course, there are three things you need to do:

  1. Generate all the videos.

  2. Publish.

  3. Export and share your course.

Generate Videos

1. Click “Export” in the upper right corner.

2. Click "generate missing Videos" to generate all the missing videos in your course.

  • Note: This process will take several minutes to complete.

Once all your videos have been generated, the video preview will be replaced with the generated video.

  • Notice how the note stating “This is a preview of the video that will be generated” is no longer at the top of the video screen.

Publish Your Course

Once all your videos have been generated, it is time to publish your asset. Click “Export” again and click “Publish.”

  • If you need to make any changes to your course, be sure to republish after you are done.

Export and Deploy Your Course

After publishing your asset, you will be able to export and deploy it to learners. Kyron Studio supports five paths for deploying a course:

  1. Link - Copy and paste this link wherever your learners will see it.

  2. SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) - Download a SCORM package to upload it onto your LMS. We currently support two SCORM versions: SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 (default).

  3. LTI 1.3 (Learning Tool Interoperability) - Use this LTI 1.3 link to integrate with your LMS.

    1. NOTE: An admin of the LTI-enabled platform must first create the connection between Kyron Studio and the LTI-enabled platform.

    2. More information on this process can be found in this article.

  4. Canvas - Automatically link a Kyron asset to your existing Canvas course.

    1. NOTE: You will have to have integrated Kyron with Canvas beforehand. Read this article for more information on Kyron Canvas integration.

  5. Google Classroom - Publish an asset directly into your Google Classroom, or create a draft of the assignment.
