Lectures are visually engaging videos designed to deliver information to the learner. Our AI generates multi-scene videos that make content more dynamic and engaging, utilizing a combination of images and static, text-based scenes.
Note: The default for lecture videos is multi-scene videos. However, if you chose to generate single-scene videos during the initial asset creation process, you will only see one scene.

The transcript is automatically transformed into a scene-by-scene video. Each scene pairs text with carefully selected visuals that match the narration, creating the effect of an animated, story-like presentation.

Edit scenes
1. Smart Regenerate
Our AI can help you regenerate a scene’s visuals based on the current layout and narration.
For existing scenes with text, our AI will regenerate the title and bullet points (if applicable). Simply click the stars icon and click Confirm.
For newly added scenes, use Smart Regenerate to help generate the content and visuals for your new scene based on your narration transcript.
2. Edit the narration.
You can edit the narration in each individual scene. It is highly recommended you make any desired edits before assembling the final video. If you make any edits after you have already assembled your video, you will need to do it once more to create the most updated version of your video.
There are two ways to make edits to the narration.
1. Make any desired edits yourself by editing the narration text field. Any changes you make will be automatically saved when you click out of the box.
2. Use our Easy Edit features to simplify, condense, or expand the existing text. You can also provide custom instructions for our AI on how to edit the text.
3. Edit the scene layout.
Click the Scene Layout button above the scene’s video to change the layout.
Click “Save” to save your selection.
The layout change applies only to the current scene you’re working on, not to all scenes in the video.
Upload your own video
The scene layout menu is where you can upload any existing videos you may have and wish to use.
1. Select “Use my own video.”
2. Click “Choose video” and upload the desired video.
3. The pop up will automatically close and you will see your video being uploaded.
4. Once your video has been uploaded, you will see a static image of your video. You will need to assemble the final video to play it.
4. Edit scene image.
Click the image icon above the video to change or remove a scene’s image.
This option will only be available for scenes that include images. Any scenes that have bullet point text will have this option grayed out.
Click “Regenerate” and our AI will generate a new image for you.
Click “Replace image” to upload an image from your own files.
Note: Make sure your image is 1920 x 1080 pixels and a png, jpg, or jpeg file type.
Click “Remove image” to delete the image from the scene.
Note: If you delete an image and do not upload or generate a new one, a generic image of mountains will appear in your scene.
5. Edit the scene’s text.
To edit a scene’s text, click the “T” icon above the video.
Note: This option will be grayed out for scenes where the image takes up the whole screen.

6. Edit the scene avatar.
To edit the avatar, click the avatar icon above the video.
Single-scene lecture videos
If you elected to generate single-scene videos during the initial asset creation process, you will see one scene with the entire transcript underneath.
The default is to have an image that accompanies the narration. If you’d like, you can change the scene layout.
If you decide you’d prefer to split the lecture into multiple scenes, you can add additional scenes at any time. Please note that you’ll need to break up the transcript where appropriate. You can simply copy and paste the text into the new scenes.
