Improving Transcript Accuracy for Personal Videos

Updated this week

When adding personalized videos to your Kyron asset, you may encounter a situation where our AI-generated transcript does not match the text in your video. One way to improve the accuracy of the video transcript is to upload your own captions.

The most common format for captions is VTT (sometimes called WebVTT).

There are many different softwares available online that can help you create a VTT file for your video. Once you have the file, you are able to edit it so that it aligns with your video.

Uploading your VTT file in Kyron Studio

1. Open the scene editor for the scene where you have uploaded a personalized video.

2. Click Upload (.vtt).

3. Select the correct file from your computer.

4. Click Save when you’re done.

Download and edit a VTT file

Alternatively, you could download the VTT file that is created when you upload your video.

1. Open the scene editor for the scene where you have uploaded a personalized video.

2. Click Download (.vtt).

3. Open the downloaded file and make any necessary edits. Be sure to save your edits.

4. Click Upload (.vtt) and upload your edited VTT file.

5. Click Save when you’re done.
