Make a Copy of Your Learning Asset

Updated this week

If you’d like to duplicate an existing course that you have in your Library, you can do so by following these steps:

1. In your Library, click the three dots next to the name of the course you’d like to copy.

2. Click “Make a Copy.”

3. In the popup that appears, you can edit the title of the duplicated course if desired. Click “Confirm” once you are ready to copy the course.

4. After a few moments, the copied course will appear in your Library.

A few notes on copying a course

  • When you copy a course, the course’s key terms and misconceptions will also be copied (if they existed in the original course).

  • Student data does not transfer.

  • If you translated the original course into Spanish, the translation does not transfer. You will need to re-select Spanish in the copied course.

  • When a course is copied, it does not get automatically published. You will need to go through the publishing process once more.

    • Read this article for more information on publishing your course.

  • If you are a member of multiple organizations in Kyron Studio, you have the ability to copy a course into a different org. To do so, follow the same steps. However, in the popup that appears, be sure to select the correct org in the “Copy to” section.

    • Read this article to learn how to add members into your organization.
