To edit the text:

  • Go to your Studio Library, locate the title of the course you want to customize, and click on it. This will open the Studio editor.

    • You are able to edit any segment within your course: lecture, question, multiple choice, and conversation (guided, reflection, or assessment).

      • You can edit the choices and the responses for each choice in a multiple choice question.

      • For conversations, you can edit the correct response.

        • Make sure the content of the correct answer text box reflects how you would want learners to answer the question. The content of the correct answer is what the AI will use to guide students throughout the interaction.

  • Any edits will automatically save when you click out of the text box. The following message will appear during this process.

  • Any edits will also be reflected in the video preview.

  • Repeat this process for as many segments as desired.

  • Once your customizations are complete, feel free to preview the course by clicking "Preview" at the top of the screen.

  • When you are ready to share the course with others, click "Export Course"

    • Read this article for more information on publishing and deploying your course.

Supporting Avatar Pronunciation

At times, you may notice our AI avatar mispronouncing words or acronyms. You may need to phonetically spell words or acronyms so they are read correctly.

  • NOTE: If you need to phonetically spell a word or acronym in the text field, that is also how it will appear in the closed captioning.

Read this article for more information on how to support our avatar with pronouncing text accurately.

A few notes on editing the text

There are a few symbols we do not support: <, >, {, and }. If your text contains these characters, you will see this message below the Video Transcript field.

  • It may be the case that your course is generated with these characters in the text field.

    • If you make any edits to the text, those characters will go away.

    • If you do not make any edits to the generated text, you will still need to manually remove those characters. If you do not, you will run into an error when trying to generate your video.

  • If you try to copy and paste text that includes these characters, your text will be pasted without those characters.

  • If you try to type one of these characters, it won’t register in the text field.
